Delaney has a new friend! I emailed a lady I found (well, okay, that Derek) found on an expat forum. She mentioned in the forum that she had a 3.5 year old daughter that needed a playmate. We got together both Tuesday and today. Lauren, the little girl, gets along great with Delaney. Delaney was quite sad when it was time to leave today. There were other moms there today - two were from England and the other two were from Australia. We had a great time and have another play date scheduled for Wednesday.
Other than that, not much is happening. We ventured to the shopping area on Wednesday and have been to the pool lots. We're going to look at a preschool for Delaney tomorrow. One of the moms also told me about another one today. Hopefully, she'll be enrolled somewhere in the next 2 weeks. She really misses her friends!
I bought a cell phone (hand phone or mobile is what it's called here)...the number (in case anyone desperately needs to talk to me right away...hahaha) is the international code for Singapore + 98687311. We're also on Skype (midwest.family) if anyone fancies talking for free!
We are going on a little vacation tomorrow. We're headed to Kuala Lumpur for a long weekend. We'll do some sightseeing and go to an amusement park. We will post pics of our time!
